This Turkish bow is a traditional recurve bow. The construction is similar to classic Asiatic bows like Korean bows with a wooden core. But this is a laminated bow, and the limbs are made of wood and bamboo sheets/layers secured together with pressure and glue. The Turkish bow will curve away like recurve bow when unstrung, and the curvature tends to be more extreme when unstrung, curling into the shape of the letter C.
Like many other traditional recurve bows, the draw release method of the Turkish bow is thumb draw using a thumb ring.
Please note that the actual draw weight may have +/- 2-3 lbs difference.

Delivery Estimates
The default shipping carrier is Postal Service, and you can choose to
pay extra cost for expedited shipping like Federal Express (FedEx) or

expedited shipping cost before placing your order.
The delivery time is 6-40 days. The 1-piece traditional bows will
take 25-40 days to arrive, and other items will take 6-18 days to
arrive. You can find the delivery time on each product detail page.
Please note that the delivery time may be sometimes extended due to
unpredictable events.
Please provide your best contact phone number when placing your
order, and make sure your phone is reachable when the shipping company
contacts you. In case the shipping company could not reach you, you have
to contact the shipping company for re-delivery or self-pickup from
your local shipping company.
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your
tracking number(s) once your order has shipped. The tracking number will
be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
We are responsible for customs and taxes applied to your order
shipped to Australia. You will be responsible for the customs and taxes
if you want the items to be shipped to other countries.
Defective, Damages and Lost
We are liable for any products defective, damaged or lost during
shipping. If you received your order damaged, please take some pictures
and email us at support@huntingdoor.com including your order number. If
the product is defective, we will send you a part replacement, a partial
or full refund. If the product is damaged or lost, we will send you a
new package for free.

Ordered the 22mm size ring and it should have been firm on the thumb, I must have lost some flesh for the fit was loose. No problem, I just wrapped some tape around it and it now fits well. Very pretty ring.

Little mates 8th birthday was a huge success with this js his ‘big present’.
It will clearly take the brunt of a young boy while not smashing any windows (yet?). Only note is the part of the arrow that notches into the bow keeps popping off so we’ve had to glue three back on but so long as you can find them it’s not that big of a deal to me

These are good bodkins.
Not too brittle that they'd break...
But just soft enough on the point so that it will curl, and be easily straightened in the event of an impact with a solid rock etc.

Club Junior is very happy wiyh the bow and is shooting well.
Excellent package if you want to try out different weights. Paired with two different shaft sizes, I got a combination of four different arrows. No "O" rings though, so order them as well.
In good hands, this bow is capable of incredible accuracy. Within a few minutes of assembling it, I was able to hit the gold with all 8 of my arrows. The arrows I have shot through this bow are size 500 Easton Game Getter Black aluminums. I have used Gold Tip Carbon Traditionals on this bow as well. It shoots both consistently. The target was a FITA 40cm face. For the price, this thing is amazing.
